Cakes should taste great not just look pretty!

I have loved baking since I was young. Baking meant that we were entertaining, socialising, and/or celebrating.  Baking was a chance to put love and effort into something tangible and present it to the people I cared for. That is still how I approach baking today, from the idea to the execution to the finishing touches it is all done with love.

As a kid I really did not like cupcakes. Cupcakes were pretty, but very dry and overly sugary. It was not until recently when I began to play with recipes and create my own that I began to love cupcakes. They can be so versatile in flavour, concept and decoration. I have created a menu that showcases flavours, fillings and decorations and will continue to add new menu items and seasonal holiday specials.
